The Frontman lifted a hand to unfasten his mask. Gi-hun’s breath hitched in his throat, watching the way the man almost seemed...hesitant, to fully remove it.
He did. Dark eyes met Gi-hun’s, eyes that were all too familiar.
Eyes that belonged to a dead man.
Gi-hun eyes bulged in horror, as the other man continued to quietly look back at him.
“Mr. Seong Gi-hun…”
No. No—not that voice. It wasn’t, there was no way.
Gi-hun had heard him die. He’d heard him die. Young-il was dead--
“I’m sorry about Jung-bae.”
That was all it took to snap Gi-hun out of his stupor.

Summary
When mirrors reflect off each other, they create smaller and smaller rings, each one tinged a little more green than the next. When two similar people collide, they reflect off of each other, but whether it is to build or to destroy is up to chance.
Inho and Gihun are mirrors, reflecting their cracked image off of each other until they give off the greenish tint of desperation, despair, and love.

Summary
After his first games, Gihun is taken and locked away by Il-nam. Treated as nothing but a pet by the sick and depraved man, who believed Gihun to be his "lover". After Il-nam's death, Gihun manages to escape. However, the Hwangs, were lurking in the shadows. Always watching. Searching for their Gihun and after escaped Il-nam's clutches, they knew it was their time to take what is rightfully theirs.
Though, their intentions are far less depraved than Il-nam's. But, let's be honest, they are not good people.

Summary
After the events of season 2, In-ho sends Gi-hun away with a key and a card with the address to his apartment. He assumes that, in a few months, Gi-hun will come and confront him or shoot him. Instead, the moment that In-ho returns from the games, Gi-hun is waiting for him.
Despite Gi-hun's assurance that there is nothing but hatred between them, they are both still eager to find a kindred spirit. The reconciliation of these two warring emotions leads them to some confusing places.
