Summary
You're new to the Mushroom Kingdom, and got a job at Princess Peach's castle. Unfortunately, just a few months after you moved in, Bowser attacked - and instead of going after Peach he seemed to be searching for something else. Instead of finding whatever it was, he found you hiding away in a wardrobe, and doesn't seem to have plans of letting you escape - even going so far as to take you back to his castle.

Luigi is getting better at moving forward. ...At least, that’s what he tells himself.
Whatever existed between Bowser and him should have been easy enough to leave behind. It had only been friendship, after all. A strange one, perhaps. One built out of books, arguments, a miniature castle and far too much time spent talking to someone who was supposed to be an enemy.
The trouble is that Luigi has never been particularly good at recognizing what he feels while he’s still feeling it.
By the time he finds the right word for this one, Bowser is already somewhere else.
