Namjoon, on the day of his military service discharge and first official day of freedom, was thrilled to spend the evening curled up on his couch in a blanket with a cup of hot tea in his hands, letting the rain outside wash away the pain of the last year and a half.
So when the doorbell rang and he looked through the peephole to find a sopping wet Jungkook pacing the front entrance, face blotchy and red from crying, Namjoon was more than a little confused.

"My birthday?" Jungkook repeated.
The omega turned blindly and Namjoon got a glimpse of a pale, anguished face before Jungkook buried it against his chest, arms wrapping around Namjoon's waist and clinging desperately.
"Jungkook-ah? Baby?" The noisy singing of the pack died away, and Namjoon looked around helplessly at the blank faces of his five pack mates as the omega in his arms burst into heaving sobs.
