Summary
“How do I fix this?” asks Arthur. It comes out weak, almost pleading. “If he’s asleep, how can I wake him?”
Freya looks at him, curious brown eyes searching Arthur’s expression before finally relenting. “You must prove yourself.”
“How?”
“There will be three trials,” replied Freya. “Three opportunities to prove what is truly in your heart. Only when the Goddesses are appeased will They grant you a chance to reach him.”
Arthur glances at Merlin’s still form, at the tendrils growing around his face. He did say he’d do anything.
“I accept.”
When Arthur learned about Merlin’s magic, he banished Merlin from Camelot, never to return under the pain of death. It didn’t take him long to realise his mistake, and it was even longer before he found Merlin again. By then, he was more than a little bit too late, and Merlin was already deep in an enchanted sleep.

Summary
Simon swears he died on the SM-13, but apparently a ship saved him. Apparently an old ship that's freakishly new, and full of dead people and a comatose man who'll wake up soon.
He crafts a plan. He'll just beg the doctor to let him stay! The guy's pilot is dead, so he'll need a pilot! Genius.
And then the doctor doesn't remember... Anything. So to save some difficulty, Simon simply says that, yes, HE is the pilot. Absolutely he belongs here.
But Doctor Grace slowly starts remembering things...

Started out as a one shot but I couldn’t help myself… it turned into a fix-it.

(Yes. Seeing Merlin drag dead people into their graves is a unique situation.)

"This isn't.." Merlin gestured with a hand to the body on the floor.
He'd been dragging it. It was exactly what it looked like.

I am trying my best to stay on track with what actually happens in Merlin. However, there are *huge* empty spaces in-between seasons and episodes that I cannot, as a singular human, fill properly. Expect divergence from the canonical plot, including and not limited to Lancelot being alive (because I started writing without watching Merlin for a while and—hoo boy, the death of Lancelot is earlier than I thought).
