Cyrus and Sister Rosaria continue to talk in circles.
Amber was working her canines down to nubs with the way she ground them against another. No one had put the fires back. The lounge windows let some light in, but still wasn’t as bright as the outside. Not quite bright enough to see each other in. Amber had thought adulthood would’ve made life simpler, but things only ever became more complicated, and became less flexible.
Sparks accompanied her fingers snapping as an idea shot into her head.
“I know!”

When she got the chance, she went back to her little spot in the forest—where she and Poppa would go on rainy days, and found her supplies gone. Momma had taken them, along with the journals, the chalk, and had erased the circle. Henrietta had spent hours on that circle, trying to get it perfect. Unsure if it would even work. Poppa never wrote it down, and Henrietta wasn’t the prodigy people expected her to be.
Henri stayed there for hours, looking for anything that might be left, but her mother did an out-and-out job. The only thing left were the same pebbles and stones that’d always be there, and maybe a few more scuff marks. By the time she was done surveying the area, the trees had grown taller and darker, the trickling stream nearby roughened, and the coyotes were about to start their nightly prowl. Henrietta went home after that; what use would she be as coyote food?
or: the beginning of a next-gen story. Where, after Edward kicks the bucket, and some other events, his oldest child decides to run away.

(or: fischl makes a deal with bennett that shell protect him from bullies with her psychic powers if he agrees to be her friend. except, it turns out to be a way bigger deal than that. in both directions.)

The game ends with Akira declaring the score "a million to him" and ignoring Goro's attempts to explain that you want the lowest score possible in golf. Ryuji drops to one knee and professes his love for Makoto in front of a nearby crowd, distracting her for long enough for Ann to swipe the golf buggy keys. Ann, Sumire, Futaba, Yusuke, and Akira proceed to drive off into the sunset, with "off into the sunset" meaning "right over a bump in the green and into a patch of sand, effectively destroying the golf buggy."
All of them are banned for life from the mini-golf course.

Summary
Before Ren went to Tokyo, the people in Inaba liked him. In the jigsaw puzzle that was all of Inaba’s inhabitants, he fit in just like all the rest of the pieces.
When Ren came back from Tokyo, the people in Inaba held him at a distance, regarding him with fear and hatred. He was a tossed aside puzzle piece, a spare that didn't fit in with the picture.
or
Ren does not have a good life after going back to Inaba, maybe he'll decide to fix it if he can even muster the will.

Summary
At first, Akira Kurusu's long train journey to see his father Tohru Adachi in Inaba is just too boring. But when his father starts murdering people by throwing them into the TV, Akira is embroiled in the cognitive world at the age of ten, trailing in his father’s footsteps. It takes time and therapy before Akira stops wanting to be a sociopath, just like Dad.
Six years later, Akira is framed and shipped to Tokyo. The moment he steps off the train, he realizes there's something familiar in the air. When he becomes the heart of the Phantom Thieves, he brings more than just memories with him.
