Summary
It only took Din Djarin moments to turn the tide of the war in the Mandalorian’s favor.
The Separatists would be no more.
All it cost was his life.
Simple math in the grand scheme of things, right?Thousands of lightyears away, Luke Skywalker leads an unassuming life as a park ranger in White Sands, New Mexico - more than content with protecting the local wildlife, passing on his love of nature to the next generation, and leading tourists on horseback through ivory dunes he calls home.
Anything to distract him from his involvement in the military and humanity’s disastrous attempts to explore the stars.
But that seemingly peaceful facade is quickly shattered when Luke witnesses an unfamiliar aircraft go down in a remote area of the park, leaving the park ranger in a desperate race to save a stranger’s life. But things are not at all what they seem and as questions begin to pile up at a startling pace, Luke must not only face his own past, but humanity’s as well, in order to begin unraveling forces that have suddenly appeared at Earth’s doorstep.
Because whether anyone wants to acknowledge it, war is mounting on the horizon and coming for them all.

Summary
“My lord?” Gaius called.
Arthur swallowed hard before turning around.
“Yes?” he replied, his voice strangely neutral, far too clear for someone who felt as though his chest were being crushed from the inside.
“I need you to tell me in detail what happened” the physician said. The effort to remain professional was obvious, to keep from showing the despair that must have been consuming him at the sight of his nephew in such a state.
“There’s nothing to tell” Arthur said far too quickly, as though he wanted to end the matter before it gained any weight. “He was completely normal one second, and the next he was groaning in pain, with his eyes…” he made a vague gesture with his hand, unable to finish. Giving it shape would make it real, and he was not sure he could bear it. What difference did it make now? He’s dead, a cruel part of his mind whispered. “Then his eyes rolled back and he… fainted.”

Summary
Relief's warm tide washed down Arthur's limbs. After too many strained days and sleepless nights, it was finally over. The chain that had bound his ankle was gone, now nothing more than a streak of melted silver. The bodies of the men they had slain had vanished, becoming glittering stars amidst the ice. It was almost as if it had never happened.
Except that Merlin was a dragon.
----
When a sorcerer steals Arthur away from Camelot, he finds himself struggling to survive a long, cold imprisonment, sustained only by the promise of rescue. Yet finding his freedom is only the beginning. Can Merlin learn to control the new magic of his heritage, or has his power finally grown too big to contain?
