Summary
In the aftermath of the trial of seven, Baelor Targaryen yet lives, and the realm lingers in uneasy silence as the days pass without sign of the prince stirring. Ashford Castle has become little more than an open grave, vultures circling in the form of whispering lords while grief clings to its halls.
In the shadow of those days, Dunk finds no rest. His body remains battered and bloodied, his thoughts circling endlessly around guilt and a rage that has settled on one man alone.
Peace will not come to him, least of all when Aerion Targaryen steps into his chamber one night, bruised and furious, a knife in his hand and very much alive.

It begins on a bridge in the rain: cold, endless, and a silence thick enough to drown in. Gi-hun lingers at the railing, staring down as if the answer might be waiting in the dark below. He doesn’t notice the man until he speaks; until there’s an umbrella above him, and a quiet understanding between them that hushes even the storm.
There’s something unsettling in the way Young-il sees him, how he speaks like he knows the weight Gi-hun carries. And there’s something in Gi-hun—lonely, frayed, still searching—that wants to believe him. Almost does.

Summary
The sapphire in Aemond’s eye caught Lucerys attention again, as it always did when he looked at his uncle’s face, bare to him as an open wound. From this close, the gemstone was even prettier, gleaming against the low light coming from the fireplace. The scar that ran vertically on his face should make the piece hideous – out of place. However, it was the complete opposite. If Aemond chose to replace his missing eye with the blue gem out of vanity or power, he didn’t know. But there was beauty in it.
And Lucerys knew that it was the only good in Aemond because he was the one responsible for the death of anything else that might have bloomed inside him.

At some point during the exchange of vows, you take a quick glance at Strange, regretting it right after. A semblance of sadness and melancholy filled every inch of his face, and although there was a smile trembling on his lips, his jaw was locked in place. If it was out of anger or grief, you could not tell. But at that moment, Strange looked like a man stuck in the past, reliving memories from years ago that no longer held any meaning.

Between the gruesome corpses and the quiet, unsettling doctor Cullen who shows up like a statue in pressed slacks, lying through his teeth, Charlie’s got more questions than answers—and no one seems too keen on giving him either.
Charlie’s trying not to notice how his breath catches when the doc gets too close. He’s also trying not to notice how the bodies keep piling up, unsolved. Neither effort is going particularly well.
And if one more person tells him it was a bear, he’s going to shoot something. Probably not a bear.

A low murmur simmered through the room and a girl in the row in front of Luffy began to whisper to her friend.
"He's going to be a doctor? With all of those?"
Luffy finally pulled his head off the table to figure out what the heck they were talking about.
Standing tall at the front of the room and glaring down at a set of notes in his hand, stood their graduate instructor for the semester.
He was also, by far, the hottest man Luffy had ever seen outside of a magazine.
