    Hughie’s looking at him now, and Butcher meets his gaze.
    “It’s okay, Butcher, if this is how I go—”

    One shot. On a mission gone wrong, Hughie gets injured, leaving Butcher to take care of him. It doesn't help that they're in the middle of nowhere with no phone service and a car with a shot engine.

    It really doesn't help when Hughie's condition goes downhill.
