Asriel steeled himself, taking in a deep breath as he prepared an explanation as to why he was up so late, and why hadn’t he checked in on Kris for so long (‘I’ll do it when I’m less busy, I promise, ma!’) and that yes, he missed her just as much as she and Kris miss him.
Shutting his eyes, honing up his perfect son image, he answered the phone.
”Howdy, ma!” He answered, a smile in his voice, just as he practiced.
There was shaky static on the other line.
”..Ma?” Asriel thought for a moment that maybe the power lines were still down and the call didn’t go through both sides.

During one late college night, Asriel receives the worst news of his life thus far.

Deacon uses these times to try and score a successful date for once, while the ship refuels at outposts, but he fails again and returns to the ship early where Bronn (Bronze) the ship's mechanic/ engineer is the only one still on board.
Deacon ends up spending time with Bronn and after some kind words from Bronn, Deacon discovers something about himself...
Also the end has a short bit involving Chase and Nox when they return to the ship as well.

The Olden Way held different values from most Resol’nare. Their Creed kept their Ways close, they kept their secrets with their lives. It was difficult to find information on them because they themselves were hard to find. They were ghosts.
The only reason Jaster knew that much was because one of his closer Verde was once of a Covert. His Creed was broken and while he sought Redemption to return in the beginning, he found his soulmate who was not of his Creed.
“Olden Way or not, our tendons have granted him the life debt of my ad and me. One for saving his life, and one because I failed to be there to protect it.” Jaster muttered. “We’ll find him.”

While taking down a slaver ring, Din and Boba are transported to the past, not that Din knows it at first. Dropped onto Sundari, supposed capital of Mandalore, a planet and people Din believes to be erased, what is he to do? Especially when he hears about a certain Sith, an aruetii, who supposedly stole the title of Mand'alor but is not Mandalorian? Well, Din has to take his lawful place, right? Even if that means picking up strays, reluctantly doing his job of ruling a people, speaking to his (two??) Darksabers, and so so much more.
