Summary
A descent warning flashes across his HUD and Cody immediately disregards it. Cody strains, the jetpack blisteringly hot against his armour. He can feel the heat as it breaches the plating, plastoid melting under the sustained burn. A warning trills shrilly inside of his helmet, as if Cody himself can't feel the fire licking the back of his thighs.
Cody ignores it all to the best of his ability, his focus narrowing on Fox’s falling form as his own breathing turns to ragged gasps inside his helmet. With a herculean groan of effort, Cody's fingertips finally brush Fox’s armoured leg.

There are several things that Dogma knows - axioms, truths of the universe, whatever you want to call them. But he knows them, and with an existence that he prefers to be black and white, that knowledge is a comfort. In a universe clouded with the greys between those two extremes, that knowledge is a buoy keeping him from drowning.
So these are the things that Dogma knows:
He was made for the Jedi.
He was born to die, bred to be killed, in the name of the Republic.
Tup is the kindest person he has ever met.
There’s something wrong with Dogma.
Nobody likes Dogma, except for Tup.
Dogma is in love with Tup -
And Tup is not in love with Dogma.
