Resident Psychologist, Lewis Brown, is a caring man. So when the new intern who isn't even supposed to be in the psych department is viciously attacked by an anomaly, he wants to help them feel better.
He's heard support groups can do wonders for social animals like Intern. How about that?
Unfortunately, the absence of one crucial word on the advertisement turns his 'anomaly survivor support group' into a support group for anomalies. As devastating as this is for Lewis, it ends up helping Intern more than he would've thought.

Summary
“You're a journalist, right? I saw your picture in the credits section of an article.” The voice startles her, making her nearly knock her drink off the table. It takes a moment for her to locate the speaker, but eventually her eyes find the small, fully black rat that had spoken.
That's an animal you don't see every day, she muses. Rats weren't very common, often seen as creepy or irritating. She never understood the sentiment though. All the rats she'd come across, though very few, were very kind and always had the juiciest stories. Being small definitely has its perks.
“Lisbeth at your service, but you can call me Liz!” She says cheerfully, raising her hand in a mock salute. “Journalist for Animal Corps news! Although I guess I'm more freelance now.”
The rat raises a brow at the last tacked on sentence, but also seems somewhat relieved.
“So, if I asked you to look into the Animal Corporation, would you help, since I'm guessing that means you're not working for them anymore?”
Or
NPC gang and hospital staff work together to discover the things the Animal Hospital and Corporation are hiding.

Summary
Intern is a new hire at a small animal hospital called Animal Medical Center, or AMC. There's something off about them that nobody can really place, and they often find Intern creepy. Intern knows they're an anomaly, but they also know their coworkers would kill them if they ever found out, even if they weren't your typical anomaly. Intern has to survive their coworkers and the patients every day, as well as survive off of coffee and chocolate, as they seem to be the only things that keep them sane. On top of it all Intern seems to never clock out of work...
